I was planning to do an article about the new Middlesbrough badge on Thursday, so watch this space for more news about that!

I believe Athletic Bilbao, Real Madrid and Barcelona have never been relegated from La Liga. As for the other major leagues around the world... that may have to wait for a future blog article! :)Chris Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14451130702323813966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27676150.post-85167665687302938942007-05-22T20:48:00.000+01:002007-05-22T20:48:00.000+01:00Chris O - Just an FYI, there is a new Boro badge.Chris O - Just an FYI, there is a new Boro badge.Chris (B Squad)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01980150880131368118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27676150.post-12158812805404555872007-05-22T20:42:00.000+01:002007-05-22T20:42:00.000+01:00That's an interesting story. It was quite a statement against a team that's had their number the past few years. Eto'o looked to be interested in the game and that makes a huge difference for that team.Chris (B Squad)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01980150880131368118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27676150.post-14665658584307601372007-05-22T07:30:00.000+01:002007-05-22T07:30:00.000+01:00So only one goal, not a corker but it was nice, an...So only one goal, not a corker but it was nice, and (illegitimate) controversy with Giggs' goal-line effort. Becks has forged absolutly no legacy in Madrid up to this point. It seems his swansong will be to bring the title back to the Bernabeu.

Sevilla did well to claw three points from Depor. And you could feel the momentum shift as Huelva scored off of the corner.

There are certain strokes of luck that foreshadow a title and Madrid have all the markings. Title winners need to be skilled pickpockets, stealing the two extra points at the death. ManU were exceptional at it, now Madrid are showing the same.Chris (B Squad)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01980150880131368118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27676150.post-18516835639195934252007-05-20T16:54:00.000+01:002007-05-20T16:54:00.000+01:00I'm watching Sevilla now, and they look well up fo...I'm watching Sevilla now, and they look well up for it. I think after claiming the UEFA cup, they can taste the treble and look to be the club to beat.
But you can't count out Real. They've been on quite a run and it's hard to imagine that will end. Gago and Higuain have settled and Guti looks halfway interested.
It seems as if half of Barca's roster are already thinking of their summer transfer, so they are about done.Chris (B Squad)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01980150880131368118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27676150.post-12541511098219744112007-05-20T11:26:00.000+01:002007-05-20T11:26:00.000+01:00Excellent comments - thanks Chris (B).Sounds like ...Excellent comments - thanks Chris (B).

Sounds like you know your stuff when it comes to European football. Congrats Stuttgart and thank you Schalke. Seeing the title change hands twice within 90 minutes was quite a thrill. That's how a league is won.

As for the FA Cup, it went as expected. Not the most exciting, but at least it didn't end in penalties. It's funny how things shake out. ManU, possibly the best team in Europe this season, coming away with one trophy. This has become the hallmark of Sir Alex; fantastic team, great run of luck, inexplicable lack of silverware. What just happened?

Oh well. On to Sunday's spanish triple-header of Sevilla, Real, Barca, in what promises to be another razor close finish.Chris (B Squad)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01980150880131368118noreply@blogger.com
