Small note, it's the Dips (Diplomats) not Whips.
Had I extra money, I would be sporting a Cruyff Dips retro shirt.
The Washington Whips came first, I believe. They were there in 1968 when the NASL started - the Washington Dips (Diplomats) didn't come along until 1974.
Nice shirt though - I wouldn't mind one of those myself... :-)

Lost to Atlanta in championship series.
Big note, it was the Whips before the Dips (Diplomats). NASL 1967 to 1968. I went to every game the WHIPS played in even the championship in 1967
