It's You Bet time again and I'm sad to report we failed to win some money for Little League Football again a fortnight ago.But as the old saying goes, where there's hope, there's life so let's redouble our efforts once again and try to pick a winner from this week's selection of potential bets.
Though we usually feature three Wednesday night games involving British sides, we can't this week as only Chelsea are playing, so we're casting our net a little wider across Europe this time. Perhaps it'll bring us a bit of luck, eh?
Anyway, here are the three choices for this week:

A - Schalke played poor against Bayern on the weekend, and Porto are too creative and quick for the germans. Porto 2-0
B - Chelsea have gotten results lately, despite struggling. The greeks are just not in the same class. Chelsea (at least) 1-0
C - This should be a fantastic match. Roma will be pushing for an away goal to ensure passage through, hence there should be plenty of breakouts and attractive counter-attacking football. However, Bernd likes to start Robinho on the bench and introduce his speed and skill to a ragged defense in the second half of matches. Not the ideal candidate for the first goal of the match. Real Madrid 3-1 (AET)

I agree with B as well. At the very least, though, I'd like to see one of the options actually happen. We haven't had much luck with that the past few times.
Well you've certainly convinced me, Chris! Sounds like you know an awful lot more about the subject than I do. Im fact, I'll make you a deal: if any of your three predictions materialise, I'm going to invite you to pick the three choices for the next week of 'You Bet'... how's that for a deal?!?!

Well, show's what I know... In my defence, I thought the Chelsea scoreline would be 2 or 3-0. I guess I'll leave the betting options to the professionals.
Well you certainly weren't far out with Porto's score (1-0) and fundamentally you got the Chelsea result.
As for the Real - Roma match, I'd say you got the first part right about Roma pushing for an away goal... ;-)
