Monday 9th November
19:45 Barnsley v Sheffield Utd, Championship, Sky Sports 1/HD1
Start the week with a thundering Yorkshire derby if that's your pleasure. An Eee Ba Gum Classico if you will. Both teams are two of six on 17 points making it tighter than a gnat's chuff in the middle of the Championship.
20:00 Liverpool v Birmingham City, Barclays Premier League, ESPN/HD
The Liverpool players owe their manager a response after the Fulham game. The Kop should be in full voice as they set their faces to adversity and try to roar the lads home. A great atmosphere, if not a great match, awaits the viewer.
Tuesday 10th November
19:45 Leeds Utd v Grimsby Town, Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Quarter-final Sky Sports 1/HD1
Very difficult games to call, these. The old Associate Member's Cup may benefit from the sheen of fallen Premier League club's participation. But to what extent will they take it seriously?
Wednesday 11th November
19:45 Southampton v Charlton Athletic, Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Area Quarter-final, Sky Sports 1/HD1
Take this tie for example. Charlton are dead set on not being eligible to play next season and are unlikely to regard progress as a way of making up for getting knocked out of the FA Cup to the Vic on Sunday. Southampton, for their part, are playing catch up in League 1. Still and all, this is a worthy competition for perennial lower league-sters.
Readers are reminded that the UEFA U17 World Cup continues on British Eurosport with the competition reaching the Quarter and Semi-Final stages this week.

I signed up with these guys - http://www.liveustv.com
Best games are shown on Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta - got fed up with the lack of decent quality P2P streams that were 'here today and gone tomorrow'. I can also watch the Saturday afternoon Premier League games not shown in the UK. I have a SlingCatcher, so I can watch the stream on my 37"LCD TV at a very watchable resolution. Keeps the wife and son quiet too, she gets all her Lost and Desperate Housewives long before they are shown here and he gets all his MLB,NBA and NFL games. Saves me forking out for an ESPN/NASN subscription! There is also FREE TRIAL
