Saint Etienne was in Ligue 1 last year!
Thanks for pointing that out, Luka, and apologies for inadvertantly misleading anyone. We've amended the list accordingly now.
You have to admit though - Saint Etienne did get *very close* to being relegated... ;-)
Shouldn't Charlton have an asterisk as well, they are in league 1 or the third tier.
Surely Newcastle will have broken Kaiserslauten's attendence for this season. Intersting to see how many on average they have.
Answering my own question. http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/DivisionalAttendance/0,,10794~20097,00.html This website shows that Newcastles's average attendence is 42,198. Interesting to note that 7 of the other 23 clubs highest attendences have been when playing Newcastle. Great fans home & away it would seem.
