I thought that when I voted to evict him he would really disappear...

I am on the other hand glad that the 'divers are' out(they must have attended Didier Drogba school of diving) even though I never thought that I would ever support France.

H was previously known as G but has recently been promoted.

I think he maybe a character created by Ian Fleming and therefore may not really exist...

I'm old enough to remember him when he just little D. My! how's he's grown.

Also, on the Oakley subject, I found this in the BBC site.

Oakley is set to leave Southampton after the free agent rejected a new contract offer.

The midfielder, 28, failed to return to pre-season training on Tuesday and wanted a longer deal than the one-year contract offered by Saints.

OK Chridge, so you weren't at work either. Must have been at Ipswich for talks eh?

If he goes to "Inbred Town", it means he will have to 'sleep' with his sister...

My lawyers would like to inform you that I did not previously play for Southampton, I am not about to sleep with my sister and to clear up the most embarassing accusation of all, I am not about to sign for Ipswich...

LOL... thank gawd for that (on all counts)

By the way - H is not for Hansen.
Just to clarify that.

Nor Handsome. Just to clarify that too.

Blimey - double figures in reply to a post - and one of the shortest posts ever.

Indeed. I think in future I'll just type 'Ain't Chelsea shit?' and have done with it...

Well I appreciate the efforts you go to mate, even if this philistines dont... ;-)

As 13 is unlucky for some, I thought I'd make it 14 (for all the superstitious people out there!)

Before it gets personal and insulting I think it is time to reveal myself - My name is Hekuran, Chris Oakley's colleague.

As you can see 'H' is my initial. I could not be bothered signing up therefore I posted as anonymous.

Cheers
Hekuran 'H'

Flippin Heck! Chris has a colleague?

What next? Friends? Not when becomes a tractor boy! (desperate attempt to keep the rumour alive)

Ah the Schweinsteigers. Such a nice family. Come from good breeding stock don't you know. Always such fun at dinner parties too. Do a lot for charity so I've heard, although they don't like to talk about it.

Statistics eh!
So far Spain have best goals per game ration of 2.25 from their 4 matches (england's ration is 1.0) and they had 35 shots on goal.(England - 29. so we have more posts on this topic than spain had shots on target.

So by your reckonging, The SomePeopleAreOnThePitch BlogSpot should be in the Final?

Kedge said...

Definately!

A couple of other stats to mull over.

Henry was the player to commit the most fouls - 20.
France and Germany share top spot for the most fouls committed by the team - 125 (so the germans shade this one having played a game less).

Were any of the French team genuinely French?

Zinedine Zidane is Algerian (or at least his parents are.
Claude Makelele is a native of Zaire.
Lilian Thuram is from Guadeloupe as is Pascal Chimbonda.
Florent Malouda is from French Guiana a frencn enclave in south america, so is technically french. As is Guadeloupe, and thus Thuram & Chimbonda.

Strike me that the frogs are a bit short of quality home grown players. Maybe we shouldn't have given up our colonies quite so easily?

Yes, they're called Arsenal these days.

We Love SPAOTP!
